Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to manage multidisciplinary design projects primarily through the Estate Works Program (EWP) and the Project Delivery Services (PDS) Contract.

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully support the full lifecycle delivery of EWP projects and portfolios across the Defence Estate in NSW and ACT.

This role involves delivering EWP projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in a Defence environment. The successful candidate will foster collaboration across internal project teams and industry delivery partners.

  • Key responsibilities include proactively managing issues, driving decision making, and leading resolution pathways. The role also involves evaluating and mitigating risks for Defence clients.
  • Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting technical and quality assurance activities relating to the design and safety analysis of Defence infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will provide mentorship to staff seeking to develop knowledge and experience in delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience leading project delivery in building services, infrastructure, refurbishment, civil or maritime sectors; Defence experience preferred.
  • Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management or engineering disciplines desirable.
  • Citizen of Australia and ability to achieve a current baseline security clearance.
