Infrastructure Contract Administration Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Civil Engineers and Contract Administrator Representatives to manage major transport infrastructure construction contracts.

The role involves contract administration, ensuring quality standards and budget adherence.

This is a key position that requires strong technical skills and experience in road and transport infrastructure construction contract administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform administrator or principal representative agent duties in contract administration and surveillance, following industry standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to all phases of contract administration, focusing on quality, safety, and environmental issues.
  • Liaise with project staff to coordinate services and activities affected by the works.
  • Manage and coordinate contract administration aspects, including quality management procedures.
  • Lead and manage engineers, technical staff, and external advisors in delivering infrastructure projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in road and transport infrastructure construction contract administration.
  • Sound consultation, conflict avoidance, and group facilitation skills.
  • Expertise in managing and supervising projects to relevant policies, standards, and specifications.
  • Possession of a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia.
  • Registration as a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
