Mazzei Electric Ltd. is currently hiring Electrical Forepersons in Victoria, BC. The compensation for this role ranges from $42/hour to $44/hour, with immediate health and dental benefits and RRSP matching after one year. The total compensation is between $45.01/hour and $47.07/hour.

About the Role
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control daily operations, ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures, and on-site inventory management.
  • Create and monitor construction schedules, reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
  • C coordinate with site coordinators or general superintendents.
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical components in residential, commercial, and institutional structures.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, wear required PPE, and attend training as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example.
  • Supervise apprentices and journeypersons.
  • Punctually report to worksites.
  • Familiarize yourself with Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
Requirements
  • Red-Seal Journeyperson Certificate.
  • At least 5 years of electrical experience in multi-family residential/commercial sectors.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid Class B FSR or higher (an asset).
  • Extensive knowledge of CEC Commercial/residential construction experience required.
  • Experience in other electrical fields is beneficial.
  • Basic hand tools and cordless power tools.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred.
  • Willingsness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts.
