Parks Victoria is looking for a passionate Ranger to deliver important land restoration projects within the Western Basalt area

**About the role**

As the Ranger (Bushbank), you will deliver two Bushbank projects at Breamlea Flora and Fauna Reserve and Lerderderg State Park within the Western Basalt area. The BushBank program, funded by the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action, aims to revegetate land to reduce carbon emissions and create habitat for some of Victoria's most iconic species. You will be required to oversee a range of tasks, such as pest plant and animal programs, revegetation works and monitoring the success of the restoration projects. Project delivery is time bound and requires a clear focus on delivery timeframes and successful project management.

The Western Region Delivery team are a passionate, inclusive and collaborative team, focused on delivery of conservation projects across Western Victoria. We value innovation and a positive, problem solving approach to project delivery.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Land management qualifications and/or experience
- Communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Project management experience including supervision of contractors
- Demonstrated experience in land restoration is desirable
