Job Title: Plastics Technician

About this Role:

This is a permanent full-time position working on our Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday. We are seeking an experienced Plastics Technicians to join our team based in Ingleburn, Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of extrusion blow moulding machines to ensure high-quality plastic products meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct all work in compliance with environmental requirements.
  • Contribute to safety awareness ensuring no harm to colleagues.
  • Ensure housekeeping of the work area meets plant standards.
  • Report incidents within 24 hours using proper procedure.
  • Identify & fix OHS&E hazards in the work area.
  • Adhere to quality systems and specifications.
  • Develop effective relationships with team members in other areas of the plant.
  • Participate in GMP & HACCP programs as introduced to the plant.
  • Complete mould changes in a timely manner.
  • Prepare machines for planned operations.
  • Comply with preventative maintenance program.

About You:

  • You have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • You possess extrusion blow moulding skills.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing role.
  • You have advanced IT competencies in MS Suite, especially Excel.
