About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Nurse Care Manager to join our team at Baptcare Careers on a casual basis. This role focuses on providing comprehensive clinical care to consumers, working as part of a team. The main objective is to deliver high-quality care that meets consumer expectations, ensuring dignity, respect, comfort, and quality of life are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management to care staff, encouraging a team-based environment that prioritizes consumer focus.
  • Ensure all staff reporting to you are working within their scope of practice and maintaining Baptcare Careers standards in terms of care delivery, professionalism, and customer-focused approach.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication in relation to all aspects of care (to colleagues, staff, consumers, and families) while respecting individual privacy and dignity.
  • Ensure safe and secure management of medications.
  • Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement process and be able to explain it to other stakeholders.
  • Maintain your own educational and professional development within your scope of practice.

About You:

  • You must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • You should have experience working within the Aged Care Sector or with elderly people.
  • You should be proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and basic Excel.
  • You must be able to meet and perform the inherent requirements of the role.
