About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Financial Crime Operations team, focusing on Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD).

The role involves reviewing investigations into high-risk and restricted industries to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.

You will assess the application of our policies, procedures, and standards in day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) Act and other regulatory requirements.

As a senior member of the team, you will work closely with the Quality Control Manager to maintain quality standards across various business groups.

Key responsibilities include sampling, assurance over work completed by Quality Analysts, reporting, forums, control testing, 4-eye checks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities for the Quality team.

You will also play a key role in coaching, training, and supporting the team, driving continuous improvement across our processes.

Collaboration and communication are crucial as you will work with stakeholders from ECDD Operations, AML Operations, Fraud and Scam Operations, Financial Crime Analytics & Systems, Financial Crime Compliance, Risk & Assurance, and KYC Operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Quality Control in Financial Crime Operations;
  • Strong experience in AML/CTF compliance, Enhanced Customer Due Diligence, and Customer Exits;
  • Desirable skills: Transaction Monitoring, Sanctions Screening, TTRs, IFTIs, and Fraud Investigations;
  • Essential qualities: Emotional Intelligence, Compassion, Leadership Skills, Adaptability, and a Proactive Approach to Improvement.
