Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for leading quality initiatives to ensure our products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This is a key role that requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive seamless production transfer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and government standards.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to review drawings and purchase order documentation.
  • Develop and execute validation protocols to meet regulatory, customer, and internal production requirements.
  • Create inspection plans and develop appropriate fixtures and methods.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and corrective actions for new product quality issues.
  • Mentor junior team members on quality and project-related topics.
  • Identify equipment, resource, or technology gaps and propose solutions to enhance the quality team's ability to meet evolving market and customer demands.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience in a contract manufacturing environment will be considered.
  • Minimum of 8 years of quality experience, with at least 2 years focused on plastic injection molding.
  • Must possess valid identification and be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required. Equivalent experience in a contract manufacturing environment will also be considered.

Work Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of quality experience is required, with at least 2 years focused on plastic injection molding.
