Job Title: EOI - Program Controls Lead

We are seeking an experienced Program Controls Lead to join our team in Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane, or Melbourne. As a Program Controls Lead, you will play a critical role in leading program controls on large and complex infrastructure programs.

About the Role:
  • Manage and coordinate program controls for large programs with high strategic value and execution complexity.
  • Provide senior-level oversight for program controls activities, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with program objectives.
  • Spearhead and implement innovative strategies to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and optimize efficiency and productivity across the program.
  • Use your visionary technical leadership to set the strategic direction for program controls, ensuring alignment with AECOM's broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead program controls teams to ensure effective management of individual project elements and concise communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Deploy and manage program controls processes, tools, methodologies, and decisions on major programs of work.
  • Establish, manage, and maintain a robust and realistic baseline, assess performance, and provide meaningful analysis to support proactive management of the program.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience of leading program controls on major infrastructure programs with 15+ years of professional experience in a Program Controls Leadership role.
  • Track record of deploying and managing program controls processes, tools, methodologies, and decisions on major programs of work.
  • Extensive understanding of all underlying concepts and principles of program controls, paired with extensive experience to provide insights, thought leadership, and evolution of the discipline.
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in establishing, managing, and maintaining a robust and realistic baseline; assessing performance, and providing meaningful analysis to support proactive management of the program.
  • Significant experience in leading program controls for major client programs in infrastructure, ideally in the Energy, Water, Aviation, Transport, or urban development sectors.
  • A bachelor's degree (or master's degree) in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
