Program Controls Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Program Controls Specialist to lead program controls on large and complex infrastructure programs. The successful candidate will play a key role in our ANZ regional Program Management business line leadership and contribute to the strategy and direction of Program Management and Controls function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate Program Controls for large programs, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with program objectives.
  • Provide senior-level oversight for Program Controls activities, including leading coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program.
  • Spearhead and implement innovative strategies to streamline processes, enhance collaboration, and optimize efficiency and productivity across the program.
  • Use visionary technical leadership to set the strategic direction for program controls, ensuring alignment with AECOM's broader business objectives.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of leading program controls on major infrastructure programs, ideally 15+ years professional experience within a Program Controls Leadership role.
  • Track record of deploying and managing program controls processes, tools, methodologies, and decisions on major programs of work.
  • Extensive understanding of all underlying concepts and principles of program controls, paired with extensive experience to provide insights, thought leadership, and evolution of the discipline.
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical expertise in establishing, managing, and maintaining a robust and realistic baseline; assessing performance, providing meaningful analysis to support proactive management of the program.
  • Significant experience in leading program controls for major client programs in infrastructure, ideally in the Energy, Water, Aviation, Transport, or urban development sectors.
  • A bachelor's degree (or master's degree) in a relevant field such as Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
