About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Regional Sales Director to lead our Central Queensland business. This senior leadership position is responsible for executing the sales and operations plan in our region with approximately 35 headcount across Rockhampton, Mackay, Bundaberg and Emerald.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable regularly travelling to each of the branches within the Central Queensland region to nurture collaborative working relationships and drive employee experience that aligns to our strategy.

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Regional Sales Director will provide leadership and strategic direction for all functions within the region, developing and implementing business plans, budgets and strategies through building relationships, exploring specific needs and anticipating new opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set and deliver annual sales and customer service targets
  • Develop strategic priorities and initiatives to ensure ongoing business growth
  • Growing the contract portfolio through the development of sales to new customers
  • Expansion and retention of existing customers
  • Profitable operation of the business unit and achievement of targets and budget objectives
  • Manage and deploy hundreds of technicians efficiently and effectively on a daily basis
  • Building new and maintaining existing customer relationships
  • Attraction, development and retention of an engaged and enabled team
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a management role with challenging KPI's
  • A successful, sustained record of sales and/or operations management
  • Proven leadership, communication and motivational skills and techniques
  • Proven ability to perform in a semi-autonomous role
  • Hands on management experience
  • Comprehensive business acumen and financial literacy
