Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management
- Lead a team of Early Years Specialists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality early intervention services.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and job satisfaction.
- Service Development and Delivery
- Design and oversee the development of evidence-based early intervention support offerings, including parent education workshops, playgroups, and capacity-building programs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services that meet the needs of children and families.
- Casework and Support
- Maintain a small caseload of children and families, delivering early intervention supports and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Work closely with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Allied Health, Education, or Social Sciences.
- Experience
- Extensive experience in delivering early intervention programs to children and families.
- Previous experience in leading a team within a transdisciplinary, key worker model.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrated understanding of the Early Childhood Approach, Early Childhood best practice principles, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
