Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of Early Years Specialists, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality early intervention services.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and job satisfaction.
  • Service Development and Delivery
    • Design and oversee the development of evidence-based early intervention support offerings, including parent education workshops, playgroups, and capacity-building programs.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services that meet the needs of children and families.
  • Casework and Support
    • Maintain a small caseload of children and families, delivering early intervention supports and providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Work closely with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Degree qualified in Allied Health, Education, or Social Sciences.
  • Experience
    • Extensive experience in delivering early intervention programs to children and families.
    • Previous experience in leading a team within a transdisciplinary, key worker model.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Demonstrated understanding of the Early Childhood Approach, Early Childhood best practice principles, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
