About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists.

As an Early Years Specialist, you will deliver tailored supports to families, empowering them to achieve their goals and build skills and confidence to support their children's development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-informed best practice supports to families, using assessments, observations, and child development knowledge.
  • Empower families and caregivers to build skills and confidence in supporting their children's everyday lives.
  • Connect children and families with their community, ensuring inclusion and participation in settings and activities they choose.
  • Maintain thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
  • Guide families through NDIS plan application, implementation, and funding processes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Early Childhood/ Education.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention, with the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
