Supply Chain Coordination Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordination Specialist to play a key role in coordinating and consolidating demand forecast data provided by the Sales team on a rolling monthly basis.

This role will involve collaborating with Operations and Sales to develop medium and long-term demand and supply forecasts, generating Supply Plans for raw materials and packaging based on the forecasted demand of finished products.

A crucial responsibility will be creating Production plans with a 1-week (firm), 3-week (planned) and 8-week (tentative) horizon, developing a weekly detailed production schedule, monitoring progress with the Production team and modifying where required.

Effective communication and collaboration with the Operations and Supply Chain teams will be essential in ensuring alignment in fulfilling demand forecasts.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with Sales forecasting, achieving customer fulfillment and the efficient use of labor and resources.

In addition, they will be responsible for reviewing monthly Slow Moving & Obsolete stocks and actioning recommendations, as well as facilitating inventory management activities such as ad-hoc stock checks, cycle counting and Annual Stock taking.

Closely working relationships with Production and Warehousing functions will be necessary to ensure appropriate inventory levels at different locations, as well as coordination with the Customer Service & Sales teams around demand and sales order signals.

Experience supporting other Supply Chain functions like Purchasing and Logistics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams is also desirable.
