The Director of Project Accounting is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of project accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To effectively communicate results and analysis to senior management
  • Oversight of the project accounting system, including corporate revenue recognition practices and standard cost variance analysis
  • Manage and review various account reconciliations across multiple locations
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records throughout the process
Requirements:
  • More than 10 years of experience in accounting and finance with an emphasis on project accounting
  • At least 7 years of experience managing other accountants and professionals
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Ability to manage and coach multiple employees effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA, MAC, MBA preferred
  • Strong experience in both private and public sectors, construction industry
Additional Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative ability with multiple user groups and stakeholders
  • Ability to write reports, technical memoranda and conclusions
