Job Opportunity: Support Worker/Carer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker/carer to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the Geelong area.

As a support worker/carer, you will work closely with our clients to assist them with their daily living activities, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, monitoring medication, shopping, preparing meals, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and providing transport for appointments.

Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, organised, and punctual, and genuinely care about the clients they assist.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients in their homes or other community settings;
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as showering, dressing, and grooming;
  • Monitoring clients' medication and administering medication as required;
  • Preparing meals and assisting with housekeeping tasks;
  • Providing transportation for clients to appointments and outings;
  • Offering emotional support and companionship to clients;

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community);
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain);
  • National Police Clearance Certificate (or willingness to obtain);
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (provisional Licence accepted);
  • Clean, reliable, and registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance;
  • Smart Phone;
