We are seeking an experienced Cement Operations Manager to join our team in Gladstone, Central Queensland. The successful candidate will lead our Dispatch and Bagging section, providing task direction for the production dispatch process and engaging with other leaders to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assigning and monitoring daily tasks for the team.
  • Coordinating planned maintenance tasks, including major shutdowns.
  • Maintaining mobile plant equipment and ensuring it is operational across the team.
  • Organizing down day activities, including isolation plans.
  • Monitoring ship loading, truck loading, and weigh bridge performance.
  • Managing weekly plans for the bagging shed and reporting on variances.
  • Providing shift coverage and support when needed.
  • Promoting safe work practices and challenging non-compliance.
About You
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous).
  • Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Cement manufacturing experience (advantageous).
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety behaviors.
  • High communication skills, including oral, written, and non-verbal.
  • Able to foster a positive and engaged work environment.
