About Barista/All Rounder Role

Our business seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Barista/All Rounder. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. You will also be required to take customer orders and payments, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus and information about ingredients.
  • Take orders while paying close attention to details, such as preferences for coffee blends, dairy ratios, and sugar levels.
  • Serve food from the display fridge using correct tools and presentation techniques.
  • Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor and have a pleasant customer attitude.
  • Operate the cash register/POS and EFTPOS system efficiently.
  • Support washing up of dishes and utensils.
  • Clean the coffee machine, milk jugs, smoothie equipment, and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Check brewing equipment operation and report any maintenance needs.
  • Assist in end-of-day cleaning tasks.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience assisting in kitchens.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of sanitation regulations.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20-$22 per hour, with a minimum of 32 hours per week. The schedule includes fixed shifts from Monday to Friday, with morning shifts and no weekends.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Barista: 1 year of experience required.
  • Customer service: 1 year of experience preferred.

Work Authorisation & Location:

Australia is the preferred location, with a commute from Tuggerah, NSW 2259 being preferred. Work will be conducted in-person.
