About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Care Officer to join our team at Cocoon SDA Care. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to participants with high physical and challenging behaviors
  • Deliver personal care services to individuals with disabilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to a collaborative and respectful work environment
  • Respond to crisis situations in accordance with established guidelines and protocols
  • Develop and implement individual program plans to support participants' goals and aspirations
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with participants, families, and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant diploma or higher qualification in health and wellbeing
  • At least two years of full-time work experience in a similar role
  • Proactive and passionate about supporting people with disabilities
  • Flexible and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective communicator and team player
