Part-time Practice Nurse in Paradise

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated practice nurse to join our team on Hamilton Island.

  • This part-time role offers a three-day workweek, providing the perfect balance between work and personal life.

As a practice nurse, you will be responsible for providing essential healthcare services in our clinic, renowned for its commitment to excellence. You will work closely with our doctors, delivering hands-on patient care and collaborating on chronic disease management plans and wellness programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality patient care, including wound management, immunisations, health checks, and preventive services.
    • Collaborate with our medical team to develop and implement effective chronic disease management plans.
    • Deliver health education and guidance to empower patients in managing their health.
    • Engage with patients to build strong relationships and provide exceptional care.

Requirements:

  • Enrolled or Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Minimum two years of experience in general practice or a similar clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to patient care.
