Job Summary

The role of an Operations Manager is to oversee regional programs, act as the single point of contact for clients, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of services. This involves coordinating all regional activities using formal processes, managing stakeholder expectations, and maintaining consistent service standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end regional programs, including charter development, timeline management, status reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Provide on-site presence while delivering remote support and coordination, ensuring consistent service delivery standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers, manage satisfaction levels, and deliver services per contract KPIs.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, coordinate subcontracted services, maintain computerized systems, and oversee third-party service delivery.
  • Ensure site financial operations meet targets, manage purchase orders, track spending against budgets, and perform CAPEX/OPEX forecasting.
  • Take ownership of all IFM projects, perform capital planning, complete forecasting processes, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Implement operational risk management programs, maintain disaster recovery plans, and coordinate health, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Manage vendor relationships, maintain compliance records, negotiate service level agreements, conduct performance reviews, and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Evaluate operations for alignment with client priorities, implement best practices, maintain computerized systems, and support sustainability initiatives.
  • Foster open communication, hold team members accountable to performance standards, develop customer-focused environments, and provide coaching and development.
Requirements:
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Management, Business, Operations/Project Management, Building/Facilities Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum five years of related experience.
  • PgMP certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of building services and general building maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in multi-tasking various duties.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
