Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a Pharmacy Technician with a strong interest in and commitment to hospital pharmacy to join the Ryde Hospital Pharmacy team.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department in all areas of pharmacy practice, including dispensing, clinical, purchasing, inventory management and distribution activities.

  • Sound understanding of dispensing, inventory, purchasing and store functions is essential.
  • Demonstrated computer skills across a variety of applications and pharmacy related systems are required.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the Pharmacy Department
  • Assist with dispensing, clinical, purchasing, inventory management and distribution activities
Requirements:
  • Certificate III or Certificate IV in Hospital Pharmacy Assistance or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of dispensing, inventory, purchasing and store functions
  • Computer skills across pharmacy-related systems
