Clinical Education Specialist

This role requires a highly experienced and skilled educator to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to education-focused initiatives within the university's teaching and learning communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Experiential Learning: Responsible for experiential learning (clinical placements and simulation) throughout the pharmacy program, utilizing cutting-edge methods to enhance student experience.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum development and improvement in clinical education, creating innovative assessment strategies for undergraduate and/or postgraduate learners.
- Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and demonstrate teaching effectiveness with evidence of curriculum design in clinical education.
Requirements:
- PhD in a related discipline, or relevant work experience demonstrating expertise in clinical pharmacy education.
- General Registration with the relevant regulatory body, such as the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Knowledge and experience in clinical areas relevant to the practice of pharmacy, including the ability to deliver appropriate patient care.
- Active engagement with ongoing professional development, ensuring discipline knowledge remains current and relevant.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching and assessment at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
