Job Role

The role of the Support Professional involves delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with autism.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with clients with autism, possess in-depth knowledge of autism and its impact on daily life, and demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including grooming, dressing, and hygiene
  • Providing tailored support to meet the individual needs of each client
  • Ensuring client safety and well-being throughout the care process

Requirements include:

  • Working With Children's Check or Child-Related Employment Screening
  • Current Police Clearance
  • NDIS Orientation Module (completed)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Infection Control Training Certificate
  • Car Insurance (with vehicle registration)
  • COVID-19 Digital Certificate (showing at least first and second doses)
  • Disability Qualifications (if applicable)
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • 100 Points of ID, including Passport or Citizenship Certificate, Visa documentation (if on a foreign passport), and Driver's License
