
Therapeutic Intervention Specialist

Role Description:
- Deliver high-quality, client-centric support through therapeutic interventions, intakes, assessments, case planning, and goal setting to address the complex needs of young people and their families.
- Provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed case management tailored to the unique requirements of each individual or family.
- Support young people and families in understanding and meeting expectations of court orders, case plans, and service response plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Implement structured mentoring to build life skills, relationships, and community connections, addressing criminogenic needs and promoting positive change.
- Conduct thorough safety planning and risk assessments, developing targeted strategies to mitigate risks and promote a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes, reports, and documentation in line with legislative, contractual, and organisational requirements, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Youth Justice, Child Safety, and community partners, fostering collaborative partnerships and driving positive results.
- Contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture, engaging in ongoing professional development and supervision to drive excellence and innovation.
- Offer flexible and after-hours support when required, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, to cater to the diverse needs of clients and families.
- Promote health and safety in all operational practices, adhering to WHS requirements and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as delegated by your line manager, aligned with your role and capabilities, to deliver exceptional results and drive success.
