Job Description

The Department for Education, Children and Young People seeks an experienced Educational Improvement Specialist to advance systemic and localized school improvement.

This critical role plays a pivotal part in driving educational performance across public schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, with a proven track record of improving outcomes in schools.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fostering innovation and collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to focus on continuous improvement
  • Providing data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and policy development
  • Supporting schools by identifying and recommending evidence-based improvement strategies

Essential requirements include registration to work with vulnerable people and a registered teaching qualification.

Requirements
  • A minimum of four years' training as defined in the Teaching Service Award
  • A current driver's licence
