About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Technician to join our team at Arts Centre Melbourne. As a key member of our Lighting team, you will play a vital role in supporting the artists and performing arts companies by setting up and operating lighting equipment for live performances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up and operating lighting equipment for live performances
  • Supporting the Lighting Team in maintaining and troubleshooting lighting equipment
  • Collaborating with artists and performing arts companies to ensure successful lighting outcomes
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of lighting technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in lighting technology and operations
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
