About the Role:

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of Human Resources, ensuring the delivery of best-practice HR solutions across the organisation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (Hindmarsh Plumbing) and working closely with the Sarah Group Chief People Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the workforce and maintaining a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of People & Performance to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Advise the Group Chief People Officer on issues, opportunities, and risks related to Human Resources practices.
  • Drive talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Lead employee engagement, training, and development programs to enhance organisational performance.
  • Oversee the salary review process and remuneration frameworks to ensure fairness and competitiveness.
  • Provide guidance on performance management, industrial relations, and compliance to maintain a positive workplace culture.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated capacity to effectively communicate, including discretion and confidentiality.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR leadership role within a commercial, construction, or trade-based environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business objectives.
