Assistant Centre Manager Job Description

Are you ready to take on a leadership role in a dynamic childcare and early learning service provider? We're seeking an experienced educator to join our team as an Assistant Centre Manager at our Byford centre.

  • Collaborate with the Centre Manager to manage daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Develop, implement, and reflect on high-quality programs that align with our service's values and philosophy.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide educators to ensure best practices and continuous professional development.

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you will foster a positive and empowering workplace culture that prioritizes exceptional care and educational outcomes. You will support the team in programming and practice, working off the floor to provide guidance and assistance.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
  • Room Leader experience is essential, with Educational Leadership experience highly preferred.
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Education and Care Regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with staff, children and families.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Knowledge of CCS compliance and proficiency navigating CCS software.
