Leadership Role in Aged Care

This is a challenging leadership role for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams at our residential aged care facility.

  • The successful candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • They will also have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes, comprehensive clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.

Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams, and working in a safe manner closely following all policies and procedures.

  • Key Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
