We are seeking a skilled and experienced Child Protection Specialist to join our team.

About the Role
  • This role requires an individual who can work effectively with clients, families, and carers to provide support and supervision in high-risk situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising access visits between children and their families where safety or risk issues are present
  • Transporting children to services and providing in-home support to families
  • Establishing and maintaining working relationships with service providers and case managers
  • Ensuring supervision and support of family contact sessions align with Best Interest Principles

In this role, you will be required to operate within a statutory framework and adhere to all relevant procedures. You will also be expected to work collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Qualifications
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, including children and families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
