Infrastructure Operations Manager
OverviewThe role of an Infrastructure Operations Manager is to oversee the planning and execution of roadworks projects, ensuring the safety of both workers and users. This involves setting up temporary road closures, diversion routes, and pedestrian walkways.
Responsibilities- Assist project managers in ensuring schemes run smoothly
- Oversee a team responsible for undertaking traffic counts, communicating with clients and subcontractors, managing timings and near-misses
- Guide new trainees in their roles and responsibilities
- Qualification: Equivalent qualification in Traffic Management
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points
- Safety: Valid safety critical medical certificate
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, attention to detail, leadership skills
