Job Overview

Civil Project Engineers play a pivotal role in the delivery of infrastructure projects. Their primary objective is to ensure timely completion, adherence to budget constraints, and attainment of required quality standards.

  • Project Managers are responsible for overseeing and delivering assigned infrastructure projects related to road networks, pedestrian pathways, cycling facilities, traffic management systems, bridge maintenance, and renewal initiatives.
  • They prepare and evaluate tender documentation, develop project management plans, and execute contract management and site supervision activities.
  • The project team will also be responsible for developing Scope documents and project briefs for infrastructure renewal projects associated with roads, footpaths, cycleways, traffic facilities, and bridges.
About You

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A degree or tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a relevant field, combined with extensive equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • You should possess comprehensive knowledge of various project management methodologies and have applied them effectively in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills are essential for confident stakeholder management and effective collaboration with Council teams to guarantee successful project outcomes.
