**Job Overview**

The Risk Analytics and Insights Business Unit is seeking a highly skilled Credit Risk Analytics Manager to oversee data source systems, risks, and incidents. This newly created role involves managing data assets, capturing, recording, and progressing fixes for data issues to ensure timely delivery of data reporting.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for engaging with business clients to understand data requirements and documenting business objectives, requirements, risks, issues, and challenges. You will analyze source systems, existing Enterprise, Risk, and other data sets to determine the most appropriate data sources that meet customer requirements.

  • Assess the quality of determined data sets to identify gaps, issues, and variances and document them as technical findings.
  • Discuss technical findings with clients, help them accept variances or carry out more detailed analysis as requested by customers until agreed and signed off.
  • Assist in defining data checks and reconciliations required to ensure quality of data solution delivered.
  • Prepare test scripts, perform testing of data assets prior to production rollout to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Perform UAT & PIV of clients' data assets for validity and accuracy to ensure output produced is in line with previous reporting periods.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Document and investigate, track data issues identified to closure.
  • Establish controls to ensure data produced is fit for purpose, test and validate the performance of these controls.
  • Support and drive the migration of legacy reporting processes to Tableau.

**Requirements:**

  • Solid understanding of Credit Risk ratios such as PD, LGD, EAD, and BASEL compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAS, R, SQL, PL/SQL, Hive, and UNIX shell scripting.
  • Proficiency in relational databases such as Teradata, big data platforms, such as Hadoop, and visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • Effective communication skills to present in front of senior stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications well regarded.
