About the Role

Xavier Children's Support Network is a leading provider of disability services in Brisbane, with a rich history of supporting children and young people with complex health and disability needs.

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Disability Support Workers, providing high-quality support to our clients in their homes, schools, and communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with families and Xavier Service Coordinators to achieve individual goals
  • Provide person-centered support to children and young people with complex needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in comprehensive training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with high/complex disability support needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Basic computer skills and a smartphone with internet access
  • Willingness to continuously learn and maintain professional skills and knowledge
  • Alignment with Xavier's values of honesty, integrity, and respect
