Student Life Coordinator

This leadership role is a key member of the Secondary Leadership Team, responsible for providing strategic and operational oversight in student wellbeing, restorative practices, pastoral care, and student life initiatives across Years 7-12.

The Student Life Coordinator takes a holistic approach to student care, promoting a safe, inclusive, and connected school culture. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including teachers, staff members, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing student life initiatives that enhance student engagement, wellbeing, and academic outcomes.
  • Providing coaching and support to staff members on student-centred practices and strategies.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to drive whole-school initiatives that promote student wellbeing and inclusion.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders, including students, parents, and external partners.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A strong understanding of student-centred practices and their impact on student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach and develop staff members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on driving student-centred initiatives.
