The Role
  • Support the General Manager in developing growth strategy and implementing business development activities across key customer arenas.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders, particularly those with defence and national security expertise.
  • Engage potential customers with white papers, informal propositions and proofs of concept to stimulate interest in products and services.
  • Lead pipeline generation aligned with the business strategy, managing opportunities within a platform.
  • Collaborate with the Communications & Marketing team to establish market awareness and generate publicity.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis to inform strategy and tactical opportunities.
  • Formulate and execute business development strategies and direct proposal activities as appropriate.
  • Establish and lead teams to pursue and capture opportunities.

  • Proven sales and business development experience.
  • Expertise in defence and national security.
  • Ability to develop pipeline and manage opportunities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
