Lead Dietetics Services

Southern NSW Local Health District seeks a skilled professional to lead dietetics services, overseeing quality care for patients/clients in a multidisciplinary health team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with Allied Health Department Heads to deliver high-quality services in dietetics, aligned with patient needs.
  2. Prioritise and organise clinical workloads within a regional team spanning multiple sites.
  3. Develop and optimise clinical services, including protocols and new services, based on evidence-based practice.
  4. Foster a child-safe environment and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics and eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia (DA).
  • Highly proficient written, verbal, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Clinical proficiency and ability to lead a clinical team, including provision of supervision, support, and training to staff.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Evidence of ongoing personal continuous professional development.
  • Experience in developing and optimising clinical services, including protocols and new services.
  • Ability to maintain an unrestricted drivers' licence and willingness to drive/travel as required.
