Compensation Package

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are seeking an Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our Climate Change and Sustainability services team in Perth.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to support business development, lead assurance projects, build trusted networks with clients, and grow your personal knowledge in this dynamic field.

  • You will have strong assurance knowledge and experience, including planning, risk assessments, designing the assurance approach and procedures, testing and analysis, and reporting.
  • You will be able to conduct technical and high-quality analysis of ESG processes and data measurement, investment principles, and strategies, including benchmarking organisational performance.
  • You will possess highly developed written and verbal communication skills, particularly when communicating on an engagement to a wide range of stakeholders from senior management to project managers.
  • You will have a strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues.
  • You will be able to engage with clients and develop meaningful relationships to aid in business development.
  • You will have a demonstrated track record of successfully working as part of a team, including the ability to mentor junior team members.
  • You will have a curious mind, seeking to expand your knowledge of sustainability and push the forefront of sustainable practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have an appropriate tertiary qualification (science, engineering, or commerce) and experience with international sustainability and assurance guidelines and standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), UN Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmarks (GRESB), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme, Emissions Reduction Fund (ERF), and Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
