About the Role

The Spiritual Care Manager-In Home Care is a key leadership position responsible for leading the development and integration of spiritual care in Aged Care services. This role focuses on managing and developing Spiritual Care Coordinators to deliver professional, effective, and highly skilled pastoral and spiritual care for customers, carers, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and integration of spiritual care in Aged Care services
  • Manage and develop Spiritual Care Coordinators
  • Deliver professional, effective, and highly skilled pastoral and spiritual care
Requirements
  • Active personal faith and involvement in a faith community/church or support network
  • Mature spiritual and pastoral formation
  • Highly developed listening and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of and ability to work sensitively with individuals and faith/community groups from diverse religious, spiritual, and cultural traditions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in providing pastoral/spiritual care to people outside a faith community
  • Experience in recruitment, selection, training, ongoing management, and supervision of volunteers
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Experience and skills in administrative duties, including data collection and reporting on outcomes
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and related software
  • Alignment and commitment to Baptcare's Mission, Vision, and Values
