Job Description

As a Senior Solicitor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality legal services to the organization.

You will be responsible for providing expert advice on corporate and commercial law, including procurement, template contracts, governance, privacy law, freedom of information, statutory interpretation, and administrative law.

Strong communication skills are essential for building trust with stakeholders and establishing constructive relationships at all levels within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public sector decision-making, human rights, litigation, and investigations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in law or a related field.
  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area, such as a Master of Laws (LLM) or a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in-house corporate and commercial legal experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of corporate and commercial law, including procurement, template contracts, governance, privacy law, freedom of information, statutory interpretation, and administrative law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
