
Schedule Operations Coordinator

Operational readiness is a crucial aspect of any organization, and we are seeking a skilled professional to oversee its scheduling process. This role requires meticulous planning, coordination, and oversight of operational readiness activities to ensure seamless project execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational readiness principles and be proficient in project scheduling tools. They must also possess excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Develop and maintain detailed operational readiness schedules, incorporating timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Ensure alignment of scope, objectives, and schedule with operational readiness teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project deadlines and schedules, identifying potential delays and escalating as necessary.
- Establish assignments, activities, and associated tasks through collaboration with project managers and technical specialists.
- Propose strategies for maintaining projects on time and within allocated resources.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes and mitigate risks.
- Analyse project data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between project teams and departments.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Develop and communicate insights that guide data-driven action and decision-making.
- Source information, plan, and conduct analyses to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project scheduling.
- Strong understanding of operational readiness and/or operations in the mining industry.
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project).
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good time management and organisational abilities.
- Confident with seeking further information to ensure understanding where required.
- Confident with seeking guidance when lacking direction or information, and with escalating risks and issues to team leaders.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and/or a drug/alcohol screening.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Currently reside in Western Australia.
