Health Information Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Officer to join our dedicated team at SA Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing a customer-focused comprehensive confidential support service to clients, as well as providing efficient frontline reception services and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of client-related data.
Key Responsibilities- Provide confidential support services to clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to other positions within the Environmental Health Centre, as required.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers and community groups.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to client services and data management.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous experience in a role where confidentiality must be applied and maintained.
- Experience in data management and using computerized information systems and applications, including Microsoft Office programs.
- A high standard of producing work with strong problem-solving skills, good time management skills, and creativity and initiative.
- A strong understanding of the importance of maintaining accurate and confidential client records.
