About the Role

We are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team at the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care to residents and patients across our sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming of residents
  • Provide care to residents by assisting with toileting and continence management
  • Help with feeding residents and maintain their mobility/dexterity through transferring and lifting
  • Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, aids, utensils in work area, and distribute clean laundry and personal attire
  • Provide input into resident assessment and record general observations
  • Help to identify diversional therapy needs of individuals and/or groups
  • Complete routine documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements
  • AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
