Job Description

We are looking for compassionate and empathetic volunteers to visit clients in need. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

The role involves:

  • Providing spiritual support and companionship to clients
  • Sharing faith, prayer, and scripture with clients who seek spiritual connection
  • Visiting clients on a weekly or fortnightly basis for approximately one hour

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • High level of interpersonal skills, including strong empathy and listening skills
  • Pastoral care training (e.g. chaplaincy, clinical pastoral education) or willingness to attend our spiritual care training program
