Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Occupational Therapist | Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in facilitating the recovery and rehabilitation of individuals who have experienced injury, illness, or disability. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing personalized rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach to rehabilitation
- Completing a range of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
- Utilizing problem-solving skills, clinical experience, and knowledge of injury management to perform assessments and facilitate the return to work of claimants
- Working closely with a variety of stakeholders, including clients, their families, insurance companies, employers, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological, and social factors
- Presenting case information to various stakeholders and providing credible recommendations/solutions to drive the desired goal
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and appropriate registration with AHPRA
- Full Australian working rights
- A current driver's license and car
