Executive Leader for Economic Growth

The NSW Government seeks an exceptional Executive Leader to drive economic growth and strategy across the state. As Deputy Secretary, Economic Strategy and Productivity, you will provide strategic direction and leadership to a high-performing team, ensuring effective implementation of government policies.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of rigorous, evidence-based economic and tax policy advice, conducting research, developing policies, and implementing government decisions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide executive leadership and strategic direction to the Economic Strategy and Productivity Group
  • Lead a high-performing team to deliver economic and tax revenue policy initiatives on a whole-of-government basis
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve wellbeing in NSW through evidence-based economic and tax policy advice
  • Foster collaboration and coordination with stakeholders across government and industry

Requirements:

Senior Executive Band 3 classificationRelevant qualifications in economics, finance, or a related fieldProven experience in leading teams and driving business outcomesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
