About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrician or Electrical Supervisor to join a global pharmaceutical manufacturer.

The role involves overseeing the maintenance and reliability engineering tasks, which include the redesign, upkeep, and repair of utility systems, buildings, and both production and non-production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of electricians in performing maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Conduct advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and standards, including conducting safety inspections and implementing safety measures.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities and minimize downtime.
  • Professional Development: Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Must hold a current A-grade electrical license + Electrical qualification (Cert 4)
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of industrial electrician experience
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations. Knowledge of PLC, industrial electronics, and SCADA systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team Leadership: Experience supervising a team of electricians, and the ability to mentor and develop team members
