About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Assistant to join our team in Chermside. As a Home Care Worker with KinCare, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence
  • Offer social support and engage customers in lifestyle activities, fostering meaningful relationships
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting, as well as medication management and mobility assistance
  • Offer respite and emotional support, providing a listening ear and a helping hand
  • Transport customers to appointments and social events, promoting community connection
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia, with empathy and understanding
