
Building Stronger Families as a Family Support Practitioner

At Kanda Group, we are seeking a passionate Family Support Practitioner to join our team in Bundaberg. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of families and children.
Key Responsibilities- We work with families in their homes and communities to provide intensive support tailored to their needs.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, including parenting strategies and practical life skills coaching.
- Support families to access community resources, education, and employment pathways.
- Conduct home visits and engage in early intervention strategies to improve safety and wellbeing outcomes.
- A valid Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Availability to work across a full shift pattern (mornings, evenings, and sleepovers).
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Attained or working towards a relevant Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate IV (Community Services, Youth/Social Work, etc.).
- Experience working with young people/children and in related fields (Family Support, Child Safety, family development, etc.).
- Ongoing training and development opportunities, including Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training and The Sanctuary Model framework.
- Flexible shifts and casual/part-time roles available.
- Consistent rosters and a supportive team culture.
